Hi, I'm Mike Baxter.
I'm the founder of MeshHive Ltd, a New Zealand-based technology company I started because I kept seeing the same problem: businesses know AI can help them, but most of the tools on the market are either too expensive, too complicated, or built for someone else's use case.
My background is in software development — I've spent years building systems that solve real operational problems, working across the full stack from backend infrastructure to front-end interfaces. These days, that means designing and shipping practical AI tools that businesses can actually use without needing a data science team.
MeshHive's first product, Knowledge Distillery, is the direct result of that thinking: a platform that automatically harvests and structures knowledge from the content a business already has — so the right information gets to the right people without anyone having to go looking for it.
I'm building this from New Zealand, and I think that's a feature, not a limitation. We move fast, we stay pragmatic, and we care more about whether something actually works than whether it fits the current hype cycle.
